Overview
Supergood is a San Francisco company founded in 2023 by Alex Klarfeld that builds unofficial APIs: it points an in-house coding agent at the network traffic a platform's own front-end already makes, reverse-engineers the internal endpoints, and ships a documented REST API plus an MCP server for software that never published one. The pitch rests on a blunt market observation the company repeats everywhere: roughly 90% of enterprise software has no API, which leaves teams in verticals like healthcare, trucking, legal, construction and claims either typing into portals by hand or babysitting brittle RPA scripts.
What separates Supergood from the other reverse-engineering tools in this category is that generation is the cheap half of the product and maintenance is the expensive half. The company began life as a third-party API observability platform, and that discarded product became the substrate: every integration Supergood ships today runs on packet-level monitoring that can replay, diff and alert on any request, so when a vendor redesigns at 3am the platform usually detects and repairs the break before the customer notices. That is the failure mode that kills hand-rolled reverse-engineering projects, and it is the one thing an open-source generator cannot hand you. Around it sit the operational details this problem actually turns on: service-account provisioning, MFA handling, clean session rotation, captcha avoidance, and error messages a human can read.
Delivery is unusually agent-friendly. Each generated integration comes out as REST endpoints with an auto-generated OpenAPI spec, an MCP server, and CLI access, and the company documents compatibility with Claude, OpenAI, LangChain, Make, Zapier and Replit. A second product, Supergood Workflows, layers agents on top of both the generated APIs and roughly 2,000 official APIs via Pipedream. The public docs library is a genuine asset for evaluation: 717 enterprise platforms across 36 industries with 3,769 endpoint sketches, and it openly tells you to use the vendor's official API where one exists.
Vendor-reported performance is the category's strongest, if unaudited: 4ms authentication and 12ms data retrieval against 47s for the RPA equivalent, and a claimed 106x speed advantage over browser automation measured across a 33.5M-integration traffic sample. Those numbers have not been independently reproduced, and neither has a public status page or contractual SLA. The honest weaknesses are commercial rather than technical: there is no published list pricing, onboarding is scoped with a human, and the public docs are analysis rather than a copy-paste quickstart, so a developer cannot self-serve to a working key the way they can with Browser Use or superglue. Supergood takes this category because it is the only vendor here that treats the integration as a maintained contract instead of a script you inherit.
