Its core proposition is a fully or partially automated document-plus-biometric verification flow: a user photographs a government ID and their face, and Veriff's models return an approve/decline/resubmit decision in roughly six seconds, with a claimed 98% automation rate and verification of more than 12,000 document types across 230+ countries and territories. It targets regulated buyers in fintech, crypto, gaming/gambling, marketplaces, mobility, and financial services that need both regulatory KYC and fraud prevention, and it differentiates on document breadth, decision speed, and a hybrid model where edge cases fall back to human specialist review.

Veriff's strongest signals are on the buyer/integrator side: it is a repeated Leader in G2's Identity Verification Grid (Summer 2026 and prior seasons), holds a 4.5/5 G2 rating, and publishes credible benchmark claims including a 100% detection rate of synthetic identity documents in IDNet testing and 99.6% fraud-detection accuracy. The developer experience is mature, first-class native SDKs (iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter, JavaScript/InContext), webhook-driven decision and event delivery (webhook payloads arriving under ~150ms after a decision), and recently introduced transparent self-serve pricing starting under $1/verification, which is unusual in an industry that typically hides pricing behind sales.

The important caveat is the gap between B2B sentiment and end-user sentiment.
